Writing & Editing Support

I have a BA in Creative Writing from Pacific University, an MFA in Writing and Producing for Television from LIU-Brooklyn, and several screenplay competition accolades under my belt (see some of my work and said accolades here!). I’ve also been an adjunct professor and thesis advisor for two graduate screenwriting programs and taught screenwriting and indie film courses for programs at ViacomCBS and WhoHaHa. Need notes on your script or romance novel? Look no further!

Screenplay Feedback | Starting at $299 (short films <20 pages)

Depending on your screenplay length, whether it’s a pilot, feature, web series season, or short film, I’ve got you covered!

Feedback comes with:

  • A 30 minute onboarding call to discuss your goals with the script (on a craft and distribution level, as applicable), comps I should keep in mind, and timeline. It takes ~2 weeks to deliver a full developmental edit and the following deliverables for a 90 page feature, for context
  • 1-2 pages of high-level feedback on theme, character, and plot
  • 1 page of page-specific notes and suggestions

Developmental Edits: Romance Manuscripts | $0.04 USD per word

Between maintaining a color-coded Google Sheets tracking my reading habit (I read 420 romance novels in subgenres of all kinds in 2024!), recommending three romance novels a week on my newsletter Forced Proximity, writing short reviews in the moment on Fable, and publishing my own, I am a romance fiend. I’d love to help you polish my next favorite book!

Developmental edits include:

  • A 30 minute onboarding call to discuss your goals with the manuscript (on a craft and distribution level, as applicable), comps I should keep in mind, and timeline. It takes ~3 weeks to deliver a full developmental edit and the following deliverables for a 70k manuscript, for context
  • A deep-dive of your romance manuscript, reading through at least twice and taking comprehensive notes on timing, characters, plot lines, etc.
  • Tracked changes containing minimal editing suggestions and detailed marginal comments with thoughts, perceptions, questions, and more
  • 5-10 page letter summarizing the feedback with my suggestions on how to approach revision for your next draft.

Testimonials

Bri reviewed my manuscript and recognized several weak spots that were impacting the emotional core of the story. She then provided actionable, craft based solutions for me to explore so that I could take the characters to the next level. I wish I had given her my book 2 months sooner.
