Reaching out to content creators to encourage them to participate on the site, helping organize Stareable events (happy hours, screenings) for creators, content marketing for their blog and for other publications (interviews with creators, the craft of web series/filmmaking), social media management, moderating and scheduling events for the community forum, and helping refine Stareable’s social media marketing and product.

Organized development pipeline for all of the MTV digital team’s projects across all platforms, including Snapchat, Facebook, and YouTube. Assisted in pitching and researching shows and topics for existing shows, as well as assisted in casting shows.

Updating contact information for the president of MTV at the time, Sean Atkins, and providing administrative support to his executive assistant. Sat in for another executive assistant for three weeks, and worked for the SVP of MTV Research.

In addition to continuing barista duties (see below), the promotion to assistant manager also came with training new employees, taking delegations from the manager, and scheduling.

In addition to making various espresso drinks to order and brewing hot and iced coffee, I also helped work the register, clean the store, bus tables, bring food and drinks out to patrons, and perform store closing and opening duties.
